5. Duration of the cookies.
Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or the logout command is carried out. Other cookies “survive” the closure of the browser and are also available in future visits.
These cookies are called persistent and their duration is set by the server when they are created. In some cases this duration is fixed, in others it is unlimited.
